How To Select A Swimsuit That Will Enhance Any Figure

There are few things that women dread more than having to shop for a swimsuit. A recent survey discovers that most women rather do virtually anything even clean the bathroom than to shop for a swimsuit. Now by using the techniques of Illusion Dressing and applying the following color, pattern, garment design, fit and fabric expert tips you will easily be able to select swimsuits that not only flatter your figure but can reshape and transform your figure no matter what shape or size you maybe.

Color
Color is one of the fastest and easiest ways to enhance and reshape your figure. Select swimsuits with color combos that place the lightest or brightest colors in the combo on the areas of your body you want to accurately show off and place the darkest colors in the combo on areas of your body you want minimize. You should always select swimsuits in colors that flatter your skin tones.

Pattern

Pattern can be an important ally in selecting a swimsuit that will flatter and enhance your figure. A small to medium print can actually be more flattering to the body than a solid suit. It will confuse the eye without calling attention to any body part in particular. Horizontal lines enlarge areas they are worn over. Vertical lines slim and elongate areas it is worn over. Diagonal lines detract attention away from areas they are worn over.

Garment design

To successfully use the design of a swimsuit to enhance and reshape your figure you need to beware of the lines create by the construction of the swimsuit such as necklines, armhole, leg hole placement, zippers , ruffles, slit, hemline, pleats, cutouts, ect . When evaluating the lines created by the construction of a swimsuit remember horizontal lines enlarge areas they are worn over, vertical lines slim and elongate areas it is worn over, diagonal lines detract attention away from areas they are worn over and curved lines add curves to areas they are worn over. Ruching is great for concealing full tummy, bust or butt. The leg opening on your suit should start at the widest part of your hip no higher.

Fit

When selecting a swimsuit be sure it is not so small that it digs into you or so big that it sags when wet. Swimsuits that cover at least ¾ of the breast, from your armpit over are the most flattering for all breast sizes.

Fabric

The best swimsuit fabrics to slim your figure are fabrics that have at least 15 percent spandex. And fabrics that has a four way stretch them.

Plus Size Swimwear - Look Slimmer When You Wear It

When you wear the right size plus size swimwear, you can actually look slimmer than you are. With plus size swimwear, ladies who are a little overweight can look their best and still enjoy the hot summer weather. Wearing swimwear that is too small shows out the bulges much more and makes them seem even bigger than they are. Plus size swimwear does not mean old-fashioned styles because plus size swimwear is available in all the latest fashions.

It is often hard to find plus size swimwear when you visit a regular department store. All you can find on the racks are the tiny bikinis that probably wouldn’t fit around your leg. You start to wonder whether you are the only one that has this problem with the lack of plus size swimwear that is available.

There are specialty stores that do carry plus size swimwear lines for women. Because this is often a special line that the store carries each year, it is very hard to find something unique. Most of the time, the swim wear is all the same color and style. And plus size swimwear may also be very expensive and this doesn’t fit in your budget. A lot of women want to find cheap plus size swimwear because they are buying it for a holiday and probably won’t wear it that often when they return home. You wear plus size swimwear on holidays, bring it home with you.

One place where you will easily be able to find cheap plus size swimwear is at the online retailers. These retailers do not carry an inventory and most of them do not have a bricks and mortar store. When you place an order for plus size swimwear, you can get it cheap because the retailer doesn’t need to have as much mark up to make a profit. One advantage of ordering your plus size swimwear online is the wide variety you have to choose from.

Online stores have plus sizes in swimwear from designers that would cost you a fortune at a regular store. This is one way you can have the latest fashions in the swim wear you choose and the prices are often so cheap, you might decide to buy two or more swimwear items. Finding plus size swimwear doesn’t have to be frustrating – do it at your own pace and time by shopping online.

Plus size swimwear is good looking, fits you and is cheaper online

Splash into Maternity Swimwear Season

Summer is just around the corner which means that it's not too early to find the perfect maternity swimsuit. Fortunately, maternity swimwear shopping does not have to be as daunting as it sounds with so many fun styles on the market today. You may even find maternity swimwear shopping a lot more fun and a good deal less frustrating than shopping for a suit pre-pregnancy because for once you don't have to worry about a belly slimming style! The hard part is figuring out what style is best for your new body type. Here are a few suggestions to guide you in your selection based upon your top priorities in a maternity swimsuit:

Belly Coverage
The Tankini and Halterkini styles are all fun, flirty maternity bikini skimming styles that usually allow a little bit of belly to peek without showing your whole basketball tummy to the world. These styles are easy to wear as they are 2 piece and allow modesty without being prudish. As the name implies the Tankini are typically tank style tops which are usually more supportive for more endowed women while the Halterkinis are behind the neck halter tie styles which can create a little more cleavage depending on the how low cut the style of the suit and the bust size of the woman wearing it.

Different Size on Top and Bottom
Since many stores and manufacturers do not sell separate sizes for top and bottoms, the adjustable tie bottoms can be made bigger or smaller to help with this dilemma. The Hipkini is another variation of the Tankini and Halterkini 2 piece styles of maternity swimsuits and depending on the manufacturer can either implies a lower rise bikini bottom or an adjustable tie bikini bottom. If you need to make more or less room in the hip/thigh area the adjustable tie is very useful in getting the perfect fit and looks cute at the same time!

Hip and Bottom Coverage
The Babydoll style suit can come in both Tank and Halter styles is an excellent choice for a full coverage maternity swimsuit that looks flattering but not frumpy. This style suit usually comes with over the belly bottoms, so even if the top rides over the belly in the water, you are still fully covered. Prego Maternity Swimwear currently makes a number of fun patterned Babydoll suits including an Aloho black and white pattern as well as solids. Another bonus of the Babydoll is that it offers superior bust support.

Strapless
The Prego Strapless Mini maternity swimsuit is a superb 2 piece mini with under the belly bikini bottoms. The mini top fully covers the tummy and hips and gives you a sleek elongated look, along with your baby bump of course. Prego's lightly padded mini top provides surprising support for a strapless suit and fits securely across the bust like a tube. This suit also has a detachable halter string that gives a little extra assurance for swimmers, if desired. Prego makes the mini in a number of pretty patterns as well as solids.

Fashionable 1 Pieces
Yes, it is possible to wear a one piece maternity suit and look sexy! Maternal America's 1 Piece Keyhole Swimsuit is an excellent style for all body types. This one piece has incredible lines that really flatter your figure with adjustable halter ties and peek-a-boo keyhole center. So while you are fully covered, you are far from prudish in this tastefully sexy suit. This season Maternal America is also offering the "Jasmine" 1 Piece Keyhole Suit in a zesty turquoise pattern which is perfect for any island or beach get away!

Maternity Bikinis
If less is more for you and you have the body to go with it, then by all means flaunt it! But, don't even think about squeezing into your pre-pregnancy suit, because the fit is not the same when you are pregnant! Bellabumbum makes a glove-like colorful striped maternity bikini that is truly designed to fit your maternity shape for all trimesters. The Bellabumbum Bikini is a halter style top and comes in both mandarin and aqua stripes. The bottoms have a secure wide comfortable band with adjustable ties. Prego Maternity also makes a perfectly fitting Maternity Bikini with a keyhole halter style top and very elastic hip riding bikini bottoms. Prego's Maternity Bikini comes in both solid black and brown.

The Quest For the Perfect Swimwear to Suit You!

That time of year is nearly upon us when we all set off on our annual two week summer vacation, but before we depart for sunnier climes we have some serious decisions to make such as what swimwear to wear at the beach. Swimwear trends change greatly from year to year and although many of the styles of the swimwear are similar the colours and the cuts of the swimwear do change.

Different people want different things from their swimwear and much of what people want depends on their body shape and their self confidence. But as the swimwear market has moved more from the sporting side to the fashion side people are finding that they have more choice than ever before.
Men's swimwear used to be restricted to the Speedo type of brief but they were very unflattering to many men which made them feel uncomfortable on the beach or by the pool. Fashion has moved forward a lot since those days though and now men can find swimwear that is suited to their body shape. Go to any beach this summer and you will see men wearing all different types of swimwear from long swim shorts (boardshorts), swimming shorts and still the odd person wearing Speedo type brief trunks. Luckily the fashion has moved away from men's thongs and g-sting swimwear.

Women have similar problems to men when it comes to choosing the correct swimwear and maybe even more problems as they are more conscious of their figure and appearance than men.

The general rule at the beach seems to be that the younger the female the skimpier the swimwear is that she wears, this is all well and good if you have a body that is suited to skimpy swimwear. But as with male swimwear the design of female swimwear has changed over the past few years to incorporate some very fashionable and flattering plus size swimwear which is designed with the sole purpose of making the female with the fuller figure feel more comfortable on the beach.

Plus size swimwear is available in many different cuts and colours and is easy enough to find if you search on the internet. Plus size swimwear has made many women feel more at ease on the beach and helped them enjoy their beach holiday that little bit more.

So no matter what shape or size you are you should be able to find a swimwear style that suits your body shape as well as making you feel more comfortable at the beach and helping you to enjoy your summer vacation that little bit more.

Sexy Swimwear - It's Never Too Early To Think About The Summer!

It's never too early to start thinking about sexy swimwear and fitting into that string bikini. With all of the stylish options for summer wear flying off the shelves just in time for the holidays, you can start getting ready now and start preparing to look your best on the beaches in the summer heat.

Seriously though, if you want a bargain on swimsuits your best bet is to buy during the off season. Starting now gives you more options to choose from before the big rush of summer shoppers. At one time, you could only buy swimsuits during the summer, unless you lived in a tourist town in one of the warmer climes where swimwear is available all year 'round. The internet now provides you with the means for buying bikinis all through the year.

The first decision you have to make is what kind of suit you want. In order for a swimsuit to look good on you, you have to choose one that fits your body type. Face it, swimsuits have become progressively more revealing as the years have gone on. There are many men who find the full coverage of a bikini from the 70s far more attractive than the dental floss G-strings and thong bikinis we see today. And this isn't reserved for men alone, either. We've seen plenty of men who have no business wearing a thong or a Speedo.

It's not impossible to find a swimsuit that makes you look sexy and classy, regardless of your current level of fitness. When searching out the perfect swimsuit, forget what looks good on the models and mannequins and concentrate on what looks good on you. Finding the right size will make the swimsuit you choose flattering to your body type. Too many women refuse to admit they wear the size they do and they'll buy swimsuits too small with the hope that by the time they need to wear it, they'll have lost the weight and miraculously have attained the perfect body. Be realistic, it's not going to happen, ladies.

Shopping for bikinis and swimwear is a matter of having an open mind and being ready for a wide variety of possibilities. Don't be afraid to have a sense of adventure and take on a new challenge when it comes to getting ready for summer. Try on a swimsuit you would never ordinarily wear or check the reactions when you slide into a sexy string bikini for your best guy friend. It can take months to find the perfect swimsuit, of course, but with a little doggedness and some patience, you'll be looking wonderful for summer.

One thing to keep in mind in terms of sexy swimwear is that confidence is the key to it all. Looking great in a swimsuit has very little to do with the actual swimsuit and a whole lot to do with how confident the person looks in it. A self-assured young woman could put duck-shaped water wings over as the next hot thing for summer if she had the right strut, so keep that in mind when rifling through the swimsuit collection. Get something that works right for you and you alone.

What Makes Designer Swimwear, Designer Swimwear?

When purchasing a new sexy swimsuit for summer, we undeniably want the best. So what is the best? When it comes to women's swimwear, there's no going past the incredible styles you'll find in designer swimwear. Unfortunately however, there are swimwear labels out there who'll take advantage of this exclusive term without being able to deliver on their end of the bargain. So what then, makes designer swimwear, designer swimwear? How do you know whether what you're purchasing is bonafide designer swimwear or if you're being taken for a designer swimwear ride?

In our multi-part series, we have been examining the elements that constitute designer swimwear and offering tips to help you sift out the designer swimwear good from the bad. So far, we've looked at the price and the quality of a women's swimsuit as a determinate of its 'designer swimwear status'. This time however, we'll be looking at cut.

You can tell a lot about a bikini or a swimsuit by its cut. Sometimes, it's hard to tell just by looking at it, however putting it on will tell you pretty quickly whether you're dealing with a designer swimsuit or not. A lot of the time, however, you'll be able to distinguish a designer swimsuit at first glance.
So what then, is a designer swimwear cut? Well, it's not as simple as that. If there was just one cut, then it wouldn't be special and it definitely would not be a designer swimsuit. And therein lies your answer! Designer swimwear represents cutting edge, avant garde, unique and special styles. The designers who produce these sexy swimsuits are the most talented minds of the industry with a passion for pushing the bounds of women's swimwear and for bringing their customers incredible, and new, swimwear styles each year.

When looking at a swimsuit, ask yourself if the cut looks special, unique or different. But trying it on will also help. A good designer knows that no matter how good a swimsuit looks on the rack, the true test is how it looks on the body. And an even better swimwear designer knows how to make a swimsuit do that. With designer swimwear, you'll find the cut to be flattering to the body. This sounds obvious, but when you've got a range of different body types to contend with, this is indeed a true skill. Great designer swimsuits will show of your best assets, and mask the not so good. So when deciding whether the swimsuit cut is good or not, simply try it on and take it for a designer swimwear test run.

How To Find The Right Bikini For Your Body Type

Bikinis are the most feared swimsuit. Immortalized in song, the yellow polka-dot bikini echoed the feelings associated with the garment. Now, it’s time for the fear to end! Even if you think you can’t wear a bikini, you probably can, if you just play up what you have and downplay what you don’t.

Small Breasts

Having small breasts may be what you like least about your body, but small breasts are what designers love. Teeny-tiny triangles are perfect for you’re A cups; the tinier the better. Larger women envy you because you don’t have to worry about support; you just have to worry about looking cute!

Here are some details to look for when buying a bikini top:

Look for tops that have a little extra padding to lift what you have and make it pop just a little more.

Buy bikini tops that have ruffles, sequins, or other decorations that add an extra bulk to your breast.

Tops that look like a band of scrunched fabric will make your breast look fuller.

Keep it small. Don’t swamp you breasts in too much fabric or you will look even smaller.

Large Breasts

Large breasts tend to have more problems than small ones when it comes to bikinis. Choosing one that gives just the right support is important. Here are some tips on how to find support and how to downplay.

Always buy bikini tops with underwire.

Try to find a top that offers full coverage to hold you in better.

Go for dark, solid color tops.

If you are smaller on bottom, make sure your bikini bottoms are flashier and brighter than your top to make you have more of an hourglass figure.

Never buy a string bikini unless you want to fall out of it.

Halter type tops give the most support.

Small Butt

If you wish you had a J-Lo or Beyonce booty, don’t worry. There are ways to give you more bounce for your ounce:

Thongs or more triangular bottoms will flatter better than brief type bottoms because if you cover up something that is small with lots of fabric it’s just going to look smaller.

Beading, ruffles, large designs, or bright colors make a visual illusion that your butt is bigger.

String bikinis flaunt that you have such a thin shape.

Large Bottoms

Take a page from the women who wish they had J-Lo or Beyonce booty and be happy that you have the body trend of the moment. If you still want to minimize your size, here are some tips to hide your ghetto booty.

Wear a dark, neutral color on bottom and a brighter color on top to draw attention away from your bottom.

Don’t buy bikini bottoms that have large patterns, bows, or any other attention drawing additions.

Buy full coverage bottoms; thongs are not for you.

Choosing the Right Bikini

In Italy, perhaps one thing that would make a trip to the beach more memorable and perfect is walking on the beach in a bikini that is beautiful enough to dazzle onlookers and significant others.

Designers of bikinis mostly get their inspiration from movies. Popular bikini styles nowadays contain floral prints, striped, or checkered patterns. Black bikinis remain in style, but white, purple, and blue swimwear also sells. They can also have embellishments such as beads, crystals, smocks, stones, laces, and even embroidery.

Throughout the years, bikinis have never gone out of style. In fact, skimpier bikinis are becoming more and more widely accepted. One can show off her curves and her assets with a bikini. As time went on, bikinis experienced their own evolution. Tankinis came out, as well as bandinis. Tankinis have longer tops, while bandinis have only a strip of straight cloth to serve as its top. Another variation is the camkini, which features a bikini with a top made in the style of a camisole.
The customer can get whatever she wants with the wide variety of bikini colors and styles available today. Aqua is an eye-catching color and it would look good on a bikini as well. Pastel shades are appropriate for softer and more somber personalities, while outgoing women can opt for tropical or flower prints embellished with beads. Velvet bikinis and red bikinis are also available for those who want a more daring look. For full-figured women, there are lace bikinis that can be adjusted for a better fit. Animal prints are also available for those who are not afraid to strut their stuff.

There are bikinis available for all women of different sizes and backgrounds. So much can be done with so little cloth, and women should not be afraid to take advantage of the promise of beauty and a perfect summer that bikinis offer.

Women in bikini swimwear have been symbolized as an idol of beauty and perfection in the marketing industry. Everywhere you go you definitely see these women. They maybe on magazines window shops and where marketing is concerned like the entertainment area like parks, etc.

The swimwear has brought courage to everyone in the society even the women wearing them. You find many women in parks, jogging and by the seaside wearing these bikinis. All women become courageous when they put on these bikini's as they tend to reflect the perfect look in them. Even if they are not good looking they tend to think that they become sexy in these outfits.

It is sad to note that only the sexy and slender women look astonishing in these bikinis and all women have been fighting hard to fit in one. This has affected all women to stay slim and healthy, all in the bid to maintain the perfect bikini body. Companies have emerged all over the world by manufacturing drugs that keep women slim, slimming tablets have been produced and various tips on staying slim.

Cool And Hot Plus Size Swimwear

When summer rolls around, with it comes swimsuit season. You may already be stifling a groan; if you are a larger woman, you've probably become accustomed to the narrow selection and small range of sizes that seem to occur every year, no matter how early you make it to the shops. No matter how annoyed you are, though, remember that there are options. There's a whole range of flattering plus size swim wear out there, if only you know where to find it.

The first thing you need to remember to do is to check online. Have a good friend take some measurements to make sure that you're shopping for the right size and hit Google. You'll be surprised by the options you find. When you shop online, you don't have to worry about places being sold out of your size or not offering it in the first place. Sites like Maximum Women and Lane Bryant have designed swim wear that is specifically meant to flatter a larger figure and they have done a terrific job!
Bathing suits have come a long way in just a few years and designers are putting in some real time and effort to find suits that will suit their varied client lists. You can now find swimsuits that are perfect on you, rather than having to make do, and you'll be happy to see the burst of colors that are currently in fashion. Take a look online and find out what's out there.

So the question becomes, what kind of swim wear are you interested in? You may feel that you have to restrict yourself to a solid color one-piece, but nothing could be further from the truth! Take a look at the many different places that offer tankinis, for example. With a bikini bottom and top that resembles a tank top, you'll find that you're ready to shine. If you find that you prefer one piece suits, there's no reason to stick with black or navy blue. Let yourself bloom with a floral pattern, or sleek vertical stripes. Either way, you're sure to look great!

What if you need to be totally covered? Some larger women do have skin conditions that make saltwater and sunlight difficult to take for long periods. You may consider the Burkini, an Australian swimsuit that offers maximum protection while still giving you the maximum amount of women. Though it was originally designed as a bathing suit for devout Muslim women, women from all over the world started ordering it for its flattering shape and high degree of protection from the elements.
There's no reason to dread the upcoming swim suit season. Take a look around online and find your best bathing suit match. When you hit the pool or the beach, you'll be looking sharp and everyone will know it!

What Swimwear Says About The Person Wearing It

Each year millions upon millions of us head to the beaches of the world en-mass to enjoy the relaxation, sights and atmosphere that you generally find there. Thousands of people of every size and shape doing what people enjoy doing when at the beach. But the beach is one of those places where you really do have to get your attire correct, because you will be wearing so little it is even more high-lighted when you get it wrong, and when you get it wrong it can be a total disaster and spoil your holiday. The beach can be a great place to meet new people and make friends so it is even more important that you wear swimwear that is not only flattering to your figure and shape but reflects your personality as well. So what do all of the different types of swimwear say about the person that is wearing them, and how do you make sure you wear the correct one to reflect your personality?

Swimwear can be a good indicator to someone's personality, a confident out going person is more likely to be wearing a more revealing costume that shows off their confidence in an outward manner and a shyer, more retiring person would generally go for a less revealing and more classic look. Any female wearing a two piece costume is exuding a certain amount of confidence, we all know and understand how aware of their body a female can be so by showing more of their body off shows a more confident persona than that of someone wearing a one piece costume.
A bikini worn with a pair of sports swimwear shorts is a pretty revealing outfit and is not the kind of outfit that is going to be worn by a young lady who is shy and retiring. Generally speaking a female wearing sport shorts instead of a bikini bottom is more likely to be into interacting with other sporty and active people rather than just being the kind of girl that wants to be looked at from a distance all day.

When you see a girl wearing a very skimpy bikini beware! She is going to be very self confident and very self assured, in your face and know what she wants as well as knowing how to get it. She is not going to be the kind of girl who will want to be doing loads of activities on the beach or even a great deal of swimming as her costume probably would not stay up for long enough, but then again because she is confident enough to wear the skimpy swimwear she is probably confident enough to deal with the consequences of it falling down.

Be very aware of the girl wearing either the micro bikini or the thong bikini. The skimpier the swimwear the more cautious you should be. These girls are man eaters and they take no prisoners! Girls that are super confident enough to wear swimwear as skimpy as these examples know exactly what they want and have the ability to wrap men around their little finger. Once you have spotted her and she has spotted you if she wants you will be very aware of it as her look will tell it all, just be very careful as you have been warned.

The women who wears the one piece costume is the complete opposite of the girls in the skimpy swimwear, she is more likely to be elegant and demure and with touch more class than the other girls on the beach, but just because she is wearing a one piece swimming costume doe not mean that she will be a shrinking violet. Underneath that cool, calm and collected exterior could well be a passionate and fiery women bursting to get out.

So when on the beach this year you need to pick your perfect lay well and take into account what her swimwear says about her, skimpy swimwear girl, micro bikini girl, sport girl or one piece swimwear girl, you know the personalities now the choice is up to you. Good luck.
